Engaged // Surprise Sunrise Blue Ridge Parkway Proposal

Landon contacted me this summer excited about the trip he and his girlfriend Emily had planned to explore the mountains and surrounding area during fall. He passionately told me of how he wanted to propose to her when they enjoyed a sunrise hike at Black Balsam Knob on the Parkway. Needless to say, I was IN!

Fast forward a couple months, one early September morning (mid Brian Laundrie being “sighted” along the Appalachian Trail), me and a friend hiked up to await Landon and Emily’s arrival. It was pretty epic, and I have to say, their sunrise was one of the most beautiful one’s I’ve ever experienced there. Enjoy!
