Cranberry Dark Chocolate Trail Mix

This trail mix is quite possibly the easiest recipe on my blog thus far. Why? You literally dump everything into a container and mix. That’s it. There’s no hidden secrets or ingredients or anything. You just get all the ingredients, mix, and enjoy 10 grams of protein per serving! It’s the perfect blend of sweet and savory with a little bit of sour-ness from the cranberries. It’s versatile too — can’t find cranberries? Use dried blueberries or raisins. Allergic to cashews? Use almonds! Don’t like peanuts? Throw some pistachios in there! The possibilities are endless, but I found this mix to be incredible — and my kiddos and husband love it too.

Cranberry Dark Chocolate Trail Mix

5 minutes — 10 servings

1 Amul Dark Chocolate Bar, chopped

200 grams salted peanuts

1.5 cups cashews

200 grams dried cranberries

100 grams sunflower seeds

  1. Mix all ingredients together and store in a cool area.

**Optional: if using raw cashews, like I was, I toasted them in the air fryer at 200 degrees for 2-3 minutes and then salted them. I threw the warm cashews on top of the remaining ingredients and tossed, melting the chocolate a little. Then I popped it in the fridge for a few hours to harden the chocolate. However, it’s super delicious warm too!
