Chicken Feta Spinach Burgers
Our family eats these regularly — and to be honest, sometimes my kids love them (Faye always does bc she’s the meat eater) and sometimes Charlotte won’t touch them. However, they’re super delicious and me and Brodie always love them. I like to eat them on a bed of lettuce as a salad while Brodie and the girls have burgers with buns. One of the things I love most about this recipe is that it’s incredibly easy. Aside from the feta (which I’ve found to be super common in South Asia) it’s all super easy, super clean ingredients. Plus they’re a great way to add extra veggies to your kid’s diet — you can’t even taste the spinach! I hope you try these and love them as much as we do!
Chicken Feta Spinach Burgers
serves 4-6 - 30 minutes
500 g ground chicken
1 cup chopped spinach
100 g feta cheese crumbled
1 egg
1 onion diced
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
Mix all ingredients together and form into patties that are each 1/2 cup of the mixture. Should make about 10 patties.
Cook on stovetop (or grill) for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
Serve warm on your favorite buns or on top of a salad!
